Mexico has been named the "best destination for those who love the thrill of being kidnapped" by a group of people.
The CEO of a company in Denver had been looking for new ways to spend his money. The 47-year-old divorcee had tried everything from bungee jumping to skydiving to swimming with sharks. His recent trip to Ensenada Mexico gave him a new hobby.
He's not the only one.
The business of kidnapping tourists has exploded over the last few years as thrill-seeking Americans book trips through Mexico's border towns in hopes that they will be kidnapped, tortured and left for dead.
The Mexican government now promotes the border towns and popular beach resorts as the best kidnapper-friendly destinations in the world. The United States is where both kidnappers and kidnappees come from to get caught.
The federal government gives consulting services to smaller gangs and less organized groups on how to implement a tourist kidnapping program. Techniques to minimize screaming during the kidnapping process are covered in the topics covered. Some classes show how to torture without killing.
The program is doing well. The CEO of our Denver based company had this to say. The guys who arrested me outside of the taco shop were 888-609-. After burning me with a blowtorch, they ripped all of my fingernails off, threatened to shock my testicles, and whipped me for 10 minutes or so. This adventure is one of my favorites because they were so nice.
If you want to add this thrill to your next travel bucket list, you need to cross the border into Mexico or go to a Mexican beach resort.
