The United States and England will meet in next year's Women's World Cup final in Australia after being kept apart in the draw for the 2023 tournament.

You can watch LaLiga, Bundesliga, MLS, more on the US version of the network.

The USWNT are aiming to become the first team in both the men's and women's game to win three successive World Cups, having emerged as champion in 2015 and 2019.

England, who beat Germany in the final of Euro 2022, could face Australia in the round of 16 if they top Group D.

The Women's World Cup full schedule is available.

The 1995 world champion Norway will play New Zealand in the opening game of the tournament on July 20, while Australia will play the Republic of Ireland at the same time.

France will play Brazil in Group F while Sweden and Italy will play each other in Group G.

What will happen when it all plays out? Group A, B, Group C, D, Group E, F, and Group G, H have been assessed to see which teams will advance.

GROUP A

New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Switzerland

It's time for New Zealand to win their first Women's World Cup.

The perks of hosting make it possible for the Football Ferns to create some New Zealand history. The Philippines, Norway, and Switzerland are standing in their way.

redemption will be front of mind for Hege Riise's side, as Norway's Euro 2022 campaign was a disaster. Switzerland will be enjoying their return to the world stage for the first time since 2015 but will be just as disappointed at their group stage exit from the continental tournament. The Philippines will be participating in the World Cup for the first time, along with many other countries. Alen Stajcic has big-tournament experience, after his stint with Australia, but can he impart that wisdom into his side and give them a historic first win?

It's a must-see match.

Is it a cop trying to make the opening game the most watched game of the day? Perhaps so. The opening matches are really special.

The parochialism of a home crowd will be worth the price of admission in countries like Australia and New Zealand.

Is Hegerberg able to do it on a cold night in New Zealand?

The return of Hegerberg to the national team didn't go to plan in England for the Euros, despite the fact that she had been an important part of the team for many years. Hegerberg will once again be the focus of a Norwegian team which has plenty of big-name players but has yet to put in a big-team performance on the world stage.

Predicted finish: New Zealand.

GROUP B

Australia, Republic of Ireland, Nigeria, Canada

Australia's hopes of a best-ever result at a Women's World Cup will depend on how Tony Gustavsson's team navigates Canada, Republic of Ireland and Nigeria.

Despite Canada's gold medal at the Olympics, the team will be disappointed that they could not beat the US in the W Championship final.

Republic of Ireland's historic run will see them take part in a Women's World Cup for the very first time, while Nigeria are perennial presences at the biggest tournament in women's football. Without a WAFCON title behind them, Nigeria will not be able to win the competition for the third time.

There is a must-see match.

The winner of this clash will be the one who finishes top in Group B. The teams have a history at major tournaments, most recently at the 2016 Olympics, as well as in friendly matches, with Canada earning two wins in Australia in the September window. The two sides are very close in the world rankings and on the field. It is certain to be a knockout contest.

Is Sinclair's swan song going to work out?

Sinclair is the all-time leading international goal scorer and is an undisputed GOAT. The Canadian gold medal in Tokyo ensured that Sinclair would end her career with some level of international success, but the World Cup is a different animal. Canada's fourth-place finish is their best ever, but they will want to send Sinclair out a little better than that.

The predicted finish is Canada, Australia, Nigeria, and the Republic of Ireland.

GROUP C

Spain, Costa Rica, Zambia, Japan

With Ballon d'Or winner Alexia Putellas likely to return after missing the Euros with a knee injury, Spain will be considered one of the favorites at the World Cup.

An ongoing dispute between several players and the Spanish Football Federation over the management style of coach is still unresolved and could affect Spain's prospects.

Spain should progress comfortably, despite their problems, because Japan is the only threat to claiming top spot in the group.

The key for Spain and Japan will be to top the group so that they don't have to face the US in the second round.

There is a must-see match.

The final group game is between Japan and Spain.

The two teams are likely to meet at the Wellington Regional Stadium with top spot up for grabs and the need to avoid a meeting against the USA.

The stakes will be high when Japan and Spain meet in New Zealand, since neither would choose to play the world champion.

Japan, ranked 11th in the world, will be outsiders against Spain, but could use the problems within the Spanish camp to their advantage.

What will the minnows do?

The group lacks the unpredictability and tension that we are likely to see in Group B, F and G, but with the World Cup expanding into a 32 team tournament, the focus will be on how the likes of Costa Rica and Zambia shape up against two powerhouses in Spain and Japan.

Costa Rica claimed surprise draws against Spain and South Korea in the group stage of the World Cup, but lost to Brazil in the second round.

Measuring Costa Rica's progress on the big stage will be interesting, as they made their debut in the tournament after finishing third in the Africa Cup of Nations.

The World Cup could be a steep learning curve for the country after they lost to the Netherlands.

The predicted finish is Japan, Spain, Costa Rica, and Zimbabwe.

GROUP D

England, Group B playoff, Denmark, China

The Lionesses will be wary of the strength of China despite their low ranking going into the tournament.

The Chinese will be looking to qualify for the knockout stages of the World Cup, having finished as runners-up in 1999.

The final spot in the group for the World Cup next year will be taken by the winners of the Chile and Haiti playoff, and this section should be easy for both England and China.

There is no clear advantage to topping the section with a likely encounter against either Australia or Canada in the round of 16.

It's a must-see match.

The winner of the group will be decided by England's clash with China on August 1st.

The two nations have only met four times before, with China winning the last one.

The Lionesses will be favorites to top the group and beat China, especially after ending England's long wait for a major trophy.

China could pull off a shock win if England aren't focused.

Group D is the ideal scenario for England to go all the way in the Women's World Cup and beat the United States, according to Mark.

Is England up to the hype?

England have established themselves as one of the box office teams in the women's game and are arguably the biggest threat to the USA's hopes of achieving a World Cup "three-peat." The Lionesses are considered to be one of the favorites to win the tournament.

They passed a big test of their new status when they beat the USA at Wembley in October.

Every game they play in the tournament will be watched by a lot of people.

Predicted finish: England.

GROUP E

United States, Vietnam, Netherlands, Group A playoff

Four-time winners of the Women's World Cup, the U.S., are the favorites to win Group E and take home the trophy.

Vietnam will play their first-ever World Cup match against the U.S. in New Zealand on July 23.

Even against the winners from the playoffs, Vietnam might have a hard time against a team with a new coach.

There is a must-see match.

The top two seeds clashed midway through the group stage in Wellington.

The World Cup final in Lyon between these two teams was not the only game they played that year. When the two teams meet in New Zealand in the summer of 2015, anything could happen.

play

The USA could face the Netherlands in the group stage of the Women's World Cup.

Which US will show up?

When they were supposed to switch into tournament mode at the Olympics, they did just the opposite, looking a shadow of themselves. With the weight of expectation on their shoulders, the USA may sink rather than swim, yet in a group that should be able to navigate, there is still a chance to tread water.

The USA, Netherlands, and Vietnam are predicted to win the playoffs.

GROUP F

France, Jamaica, Brazil, Group C playoff

It's easy to call Group F on paper, but when you actually get to a tournament, things don't always go to plan, as Jamaica did four years ago when they were without Bunny Shaw.

France, who have a history of peaking too early at major tournaments, will like their chances of having a strong group stage, not least wrapping up with a match against one of the debutantes.

Brazil have a lot of young talent coming through and are not to be underestimated.

It's a must-see match.

The clash of the top two seeds in July should be a litmus test for where both nations are at and how likely they are to win the World Cup.

It is worth noting that should Panama qualify for the World Cup through the playoffs, they will face Jamaica in a game that will be fun to watch.

Is the real France up to the challenge?

France has been talked about as a dark horse or one of the favorites to win major silverware but it hasn't happened yet. The team looked less assured with each passing match despite the fact that they started so well at the Euros.

Even without a banana-peel draw, it's hard to know which France will turn up and whether or not they will face anyone in the group stage.

Brazil, France, and Jamaica are predicted to win the playoffs.

GROUP G

Sweden, South Africa, Italy, Argentina

Sweden has made the semifinals of the tournament four times. The experience of the Olympic silver medallists will make them difficult to beat.

Italy, who are playing in their third World Cup, will be the biggest challenge forSweden. The Italians were the top team in their group in 2019.

South Africa and Argentina are both playing in the World Cup for the first time. They face a daunting task against Sweden and Italy in order to get out of the group.

There is a must-see match.

The top spot in Group G will be decided. Italy won in a five-goal thriller in the group stage of the European Championships.

Italy only allowed one goal in the qualification campaign. Sweden will be looking for revenge after they were defeated at the Euros.

Sweden has one of the best defenses in the world, led by a player who is currently playing for the Blues, and Italy has one of the best attacks in the world, led by a player who is currently playing for Perugia.

Argentina has never won a World Cup match.

Argentina's performance at the World Cup was their best ever. Even though they didn't make it to the knockout rounds, they still had exciting draws against Japan and Scotland, as well as a narrow loss to England.

The youth in the squad from this year have gained a lot of experience and will be ready to take on the challenges. It's hard to imagine Argentina making it out of the group, but a win would mark continued growth and success.

It was predicted that Italy, Sweden, Argentina, and South Africa would finish.

GROUP H

Germany, Morocco, Colombia, South Korea

In this group, Germany will be difficult to beat. They went all the way to the finals of Euro 2022, but fell just short to England. All eight editions of the Women's World Cup have been hosted by Germany. Their route to the top spot here seems to be locked in and they should wrap this one up quickly.

When they qualified for the knockout phase of the World Cup in 2015, they did not make it out of the group. Group H is poised to make another run into the elimination rounds if they can beat South Korea.

South Korea made it to the round of 16 in Canada but failed to advance out of the group in France.

They will be making their World Cup debut. They will be the first Arab nation to participate in the tournament. The success of African women's football and the growth of the women's game will be marked by this history-making moment.

It's a must-see match.

It is easy. The match will determine who progresses and who goes home. After not making the elimination rounds in France, both nations will be trying to prove a point. Ji So-Yun is the leader of South Korea and he has experience and depth.

The sides have only met a few times in the past, with South Korea beating theColombias in the Olympics. It has been a long time since they last met and with everything on the line, this match is a must see for the tournament.

The person has an X factor.

Oberdorf is one of the most exciting players and has been nominated for many awards this year after marshalling Germany at the Euros.

Oberdorf's kick starts Germany's attack and is a great way to watch a football game. There will be a young star in the tournament.

The predicted finish is Germany, South Korea, and Algeria.
