Walmart faces many requests to accept Apple Pay on a daily basis, but it doesn't accept the tap-to-pay service at its 4,700 stores across the US

It's clear that Walmart is ignoring one of its customers' most frequent requests, even though there are some benefits for Walmart in pushing its own mobile payments service, such as getting more customers to download the Walmart app, being able to track a customer's purchase history, and avoiding Apple

It was eight years ago that Apple Pay was launched. Walmart, The Home Depot, and Kroger are some of the major retailers that do not accept Apple Pay. Walmart started accepting Apple Pay in Canada in the late 20th century.
