The display of the search engine is not easy to understand. The nightly cost is displayed when you search for a property, but the total cost of the rental is also shown. The total cost of the rental does not include taxes and fees that are not included in the total, and you only see that on the reservation page. It can be difficult to compare the total cost of multiple rentals because of the different fees.
You can find the full cost of each result without having to click through to the rental page if you use the Australian site ofAirbnb.
An example can be checked out. There is a vacation rental on the Washington/Oregon Coast. There is a three night rental in Ocean Shores.
These are not the final prices. I get a final price if I click through to the first option.
It is difficult to compare the final cost of the various properties for the dates that I want because of how the results are displayed on the US page.
The exact same search can be found on the Australian website.
The prices are no longer confusing. All taxes and fees are included in the price. It is now easy to quickly browse through the results and find out the exact cost of the rental for the dates that I have selected. It's nice.
There are two things to keep in mind.
There are two The currency of the page will beAUD. Clicking on the small globe on the top right corner of the page will show the result in US Dollars.
You have the option of changing the default currency and language. All prices will be displayed according to currency and dollar if you can understand Australian English.
When trying to compare dozens of properties at the same time, this is a great trick to simplify the prices listed on the results page. If you switch over to the American site, you won't have to pay taxes on the service fee.
