J.K. Dobbins will be out for at least a month with a knee injury, meaning he won't play against Cleveland.

Dobbins is going to have knee surgery and will be out for 3-6 weeks.

Injuries have become the main storyline of the young man's career.

He missed the entire of the 2021 campaign with a torn ACL after a promising freshman season in which he rushed for 800 yards and nine touchdown.

His recovery from that injury also cost him Baltimore's Week 1 win over the New York Jets.

Okay I’m tired of being quiet… come to me for your source @RapSheet because I might not even go on PUP because that’s how good my rehab is going and I’m damn sure going to be ready for week 1. https://t.co/gH2TqCFLM4

I would post videos but I want all you fake a** doctors and people who have never spoken a word to me to see what me and Jesus been up to on the biggest stage.

After being activated from the physically unable to perform list in August, there was hope that Dobbins would be able to play in the season opener. The Ravens wanted to keep their top running back healthy so they played it safe.

JK Dobbins is ready to play but the Ravens are being extra cautious with their star running back. It’s more important to have him for many games rather than just one. https://t.co/Ruk3H5FpL7

In Week 3, he ran seven times for 23 yards and had two catches for 17 yards.

He told reporters at the time that he was happy to be back. It's time for me to try and do what I do. That runs for 100 yards.

He is a key member of Baltimore's offense. The hope was to keep Dobbins healthy for the majority of his campaign after the Ravens were decimated by injuries.

The team didn't have him available for the first four games of the season as he recovered from his own knee injury. He was on the injured list.

In the Week 6 loss to the New York Giants, Drake ran for 118 yards and a touchdown and Dobbins was out with an injury.
