There is a chance to try out the Clear calling feature ahead of its full release, thanks to the availability of the latest version of the mobile operating system. Machine learning is being used to reduce background noise on a phone call.

Since it was introduced in the first public alpha of the new version of the operating system, Clear calling has been available on other phones. The newest phones from the company were not eligible for the program at the start.

After signing up for the beta, Pixel 7 users will find the Clear Calling option in Android’s sound settings.

The feature will be rolling out in the coming months and should be available during the December feature drop. There are some bug fixes that have been included in the latest version of the mobile operating system.

There was an issue where the screen unlockUI was displayed over notifications and other lock screen content.

If you want to try out the features before they're released to the public, you'll need to enroll in the company'sbeta program.
