According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the tight end for the Raiders is likely out for the game against the Texans.

He missed his second practice in a row after the Raiders' bye week.

In Vegas' loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, he only played eight snaps. He was ruled out for the rest of the game after being removed from the game in the first quarter.

This is the second time that the Georgia Tech product has had a problem with a hamstrings. The same problem caused him to miss time during training camp.

A shoulder injury limited him in practice early in the week leading up to the game, but he returned to practice on a full time basis over the course of the week.

The 2020 Pro Bowler was unable to play in six games due to injuries.

Through five games, he has 175 receiving yards and one touchdown on 16 catches. He had two 1,000-yard seasons in a row.

Expectations were high for the Raiders after the hiring of Josh McDaniels and the acquisition of Davante Adams. Four of their losses have been by 14 points or less.

Losing a player is a blow to the offense. Foster Moreau will be the primary tight end. He had a career-high 373 receiving yards.

With Waller out of the lineup, more targets should be seen by Adams and Mack. Hunter Renfrow, who missed two games due to a concussion, could be getting more attention from the quarterback.
