How Camille and Aurane became community leads at Google

The BGN community means something to you.

BGN is a representation of inclusivity, solidarity and inspiration. I used to work in finance before I joined the company. I was the only black woman on the team. I felt welcome when I joined the search engine. BGN has been a safe space for me since I started working there. Mentoring and coaching have helped me thrive in my role. I joined the Paris chapter to give back to the community.

The Black community can be celebrated in all its forms in the BGN space. BGN creates a space for us to discuss pressing issues in a way that feels psychological safety. Senior management at Google help create a sense of belonging for BGN and all ERGs.

Is there any advice for people who want to be a Googler.

Go to events hosted by the internet giant. The application and interview process will be helped by these. You can learn more about these opportunities

If you can, read as much as you can and take as many courses as you can. Don't get discouraged if you don't succeed. It is advisable to try again after you have had time to absorb any feedback. Even if one role isn't for you, the perfect one could be around the corner.
