Matthew Lewis had to change his appearance in the Harry Potter films because he kept getting hotter.

In his memoir, which was released on Tuesday, Tom Felton said that he never intended to be the stud of the show.

Lewis played a student in the "HP" movies. The character's bravery became more visible. He used the Sword of Gryffindor in the final film to slay Nagini.

Lewis began to look less like the round-faced kid introduced at the beginning of the franchise as he matured.

Matthew Lewis looked the part in the first film, according to his memoirs. He had the ears, face, and accent. The man was head to toe.

There was an issue. Each year, when we all congregated to make the next film, Matthew was ever so slightly hunkier, which meant that he was ever so slightly less Neville-esque.

In the later films, they had to give him a wedge behind his ears, fake teeth, and a fat suit to stop him from being a hunk.

Lewis told Metro that he used false teeth and padding to transform into Neville.

He said it happened when he returned from the break. They had shifted from a winter to a summer blockbuster and I was thinner when I came back than I had been.

Lewis said that they tried stuffing his cheeks with cotton wool, which was disgusting, then they cut these bits of sponge from creature effects and put them in there.

The actor said that the cheek stuffing made him salivate.

He said that he was given false teeth and plastic behind his ears.
