The six-time major champion doesn't agree with Phil's assessment of the current state of men's professional golf.

"I don't agree with what Phil said last week, I'm not going to say that again," he said. I don't think anyone who takes a logical view of the game of golf can agree with what he said.

Fifteen of the top 20 players in the world are in the field. The only LIV golfer in the top 20 is Australia's CAMERON SMITH. LIV golfers haven't received points for finishing where they started.

"For them to be talking the way they are, it's bold," said McIlroy, who won last year'sCJ Cup. There is a lot of propaganda being used. I don't think the tour is going to go down. Almost all of the talent is here. Tom Kim is going to be the future of our game.

Jon Rahm, a friend of Phil Mickelson and a former Arizona State star, took exception to his comments that were made to reporters at a golf event in Saudi Arabia.

Two-time Open Championship winner Greg Norman is fronting the LIV Golf circuit, which is being financed by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia.

"I don't know what he's talking about, I love Phil, but I don't know what he's talking about." I'm not sure why he said that. Changes are being made for the players on the tour. I'm not sure what drove him to say that.

He said that he was happy to be on the winning side of the divide between the golf circuit and the tour.

He believes that he is on the winning side of how things will evolve in the coming years for professional golf. There are a lot of the best players in the world on the PGA Tour.

Both sides are going to change and evolve until they sit down and talk. I love the side that I'm on and I see that LIV Golf is going upwards.
