Apple increased the price of existing iPad mini models in non-US markets after updating its online store with new entry level iPad and iPad Pro models.
In the UK, the 64GB iPad mini now costs $569, up from $489 earlier in the day, while the 128GB model costs $749, up from $619. The iPad mini is more expensive than the new iPad at the same capacities because of the price increase.
Hikes can be found in many European countries.
India and markets in the Asia Pacific region have seen small increases. The price of the iPad mini has risen in Australia.
Apple didn't give a reason for the price hikes outside the US, but they could be linked to the strong dollar and rising inflation, and the price of most other latest-gen devices in Apple's hardware product lineup have remained constant.
Thank you, Nick.
