Attorney at Law is not the villain of She-Hulk. There is a group of toxic, entitled men who call themselves Intelligencia and have devoted themselves to harassing and harming She-Hulk.

The misogynistic argument that Jen doesn't deserve her powers, why do we need another woman superhero, and the toxic troll that She-Hulk faced are all reminiscent of real world sexism. She-Hulk might have anticipated its own detractors.

The director of She-Hulk said in a video interview that it was 1000 percent. We were aware that we were going to be attacked. The show was reviewed before it aired.

As the show went on, Coiro noticed that the trolly decreased. She said that a lot of the negative vibes have stopped. We acknowledge the negative people in the show.

If someone criticizes She-Hulk through a misogynistic, troll lens, they're basically saying that they're the same person as Todd "HulkKing" Phelps, which is just humiliation.

It shows us that we're one step ahead of them when they send these negative messages. It's not as satisfying for them.

She-Hulk can explore some very real and horrifying experiences when she faces off against villains. In the 8th episode of "Ribbit or Rip It," Jen was shown footage of her being intimate with a date without her knowledge or consent, before she was doxxed. Coiro was excited to use the platform of one of the biggest franchises in the world to raise awareness for the issue of revenge porn, and he was surprised by how important it was.

"From the opening episode, where Jen talks about being a woman and dealing with anger and sexism every day, we explore so many aspects of her life."

Coiro found watching the experiences play out on screen to be therapeutic. The pilot's words echoed in Coiro's brain after he was recently subjected to some pretty intense sexism. I deal with men condescending to me all the time. It was great to have a discussion about that in popular culture. I felt seen when I watched the episode.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now available on Disney+.
