After ignoring the app experience on the tablets for a long time, the search giant is now focused on turning it around. The search giant introduced an improved interface and multitasking experience for tablets and foldables. At the developer conference in May, it was promised that it would fine tune over 20 of its own apps for the tablets. The search giant started to deliver on that pledge with the browser Chrome.
New features in the update include a side-by-side view for improved tab navigation and the ability to drag and drop information out of chrome

The grid layout for tabs made it easier for users to switch between them instead of having to navigate through the horizontal line of tabs. Large-sized previews of currently open tabs can be seen from the bottom of the screen with the new update. Through the tab switcher, this feature can be found on the Chrome app.

Tab groups feature is coming soon to Chrome for tablets, the company said.
No matter if you prefer using a mouse, a stylus, or a finger, the experience should be the same on tablets as it is on a computer. "We're constantly exploring new ways to make it easier and more enjoyable to use Chrome on yourANDROID TABLET, whether it's easier navigation with the visual tab grid, switch to desktop mode, or finding the tab quickly"
As it prepares to launch its own device next year, the company is updating the experience of its tablets through app changes and software updates.
