Jurgen Klopp
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool beat Manchester City 1-0 on Sunday

If his comments about Manchester City's spending power were seen as racist, he wouldn't like it.

Before Sunday's win over City, Klopp had said that they could do what they wanted.

Those comments were not liked by senior figures at City.

"In this particular case, I don't feel it at all," he said.

He said he knew himself. You can't hit with something that is far from my personality.

I would hate it, if I were that person. I don't want to be like this.

One of the clubs with the most spending power was City, according to Klopp.

The City hierarchy felt that the comments made by the City boss helped to inflame tensions at the game where he said coins were thrown at him.

Eddie Howe told people to be careful with their comments and opinions.

He says he's been misinterpreted.

I've said things that were open for misinterpretation. I am aware of that.

Sometimes you say something and you think, "Oh my gosh!" This is not a moment that can be interpreted like this. It's absolutely true.

He said it all began with a question about how to compete with City.

I said how much I respected what they were doing and it was still not right for some.
