The texts were easy to read and understand. One said to make sure you went crazy with the ring. "Make sure it's over the top," read one of the instructions. When the Warriors beat the Celtics in six games to win their fourth title in eight years, Arasheben began designing a ring that was huge. The team's home winning percentage in the playoffs is 91%. The ring has more symbolism than just the number of carats. The ring tells the story of the Warriors' championship season and was designed by players, team leadership and a Beverly Hills man. Warriors assistant general manager Kirk Lacob said that the journey mattered. You are trying to tell a story with any ring. The ring is pretty. The physical embodiment of the journey is what it is. It is supposed to remind you of what happened. Golden State's journey to its title last year was very similar to its title run in 2015. After they made the finals, they only had a small chance of winning the title. Seven years prior to that championship, the Warriors won their first title. Dozens of innovative designs were presented to Lacob at his first meeting with Arasheben and his staff. Lacob was not a fan of them. He wants the same shape as their rings had. This year's ring is similar to the one they had last year, with the old building's X's on its windows around the outside of the ring. There is a view of the interior of Chase Center on the other side of the building.

Arasheben and Lacob kept in touch with each other via text and email during the monthslong design process. Lacob saw many different versions of the ring before he settled on the final design. The face of the ring was the first thing they worked on.

The jewelers of Beverly Hills scoured for months for a rare gem that was found in the ring. As a result of the war in Ukraine, trade embargos made it more challenging, so they got from Belgium, Israel, India and Canada. Arasheben and his team had just five weeks to make the 65 rings, each requiring 40 to 50 hours and seven different specialists to create.
The franchise introduced a "Gold Blooded" slogan before the first round and the yellow color is an acknowledgment of that.

Each player's jersey number is on top of a secret trapdoor that Lacob says is a way to reveal the number of Larry O'Brien Trophies each player has won. The four core players who built Golden State's dynasty are Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Curry and Iguodala.
