Wilfried Zaha has scored in Palace's past three meetings with Wolves, the Eagles winning all three of those games

Crystal Palace recorded back-to-back home victories by beating managerless Wolves, thanks to Wilfried Zaha's well taken winner.

Adama Traore's headed goal gave the visitors a deserved half-time lead that was almost doubled when Ruben Neves hit the post.

After Eberechi Eze nodded them level from Michael Olise's cross, Palace never looked back.

The goal lifted Palace up to 10th place in the table and gave them hope of survival.

Wolves, who are looking for a new boss, are 17th, just one point above the bottom of the table.

They had a chance to get a point in London, but their late strike was missed by Guaita.

Entertaining affair surpasses humble expectations

Palace had only scored four goals in their previous five games, and Wolves had only scored four goals all season, so neither side was expected to win.

After just four minutes, the tone was set as Cheick Doucoure rattled Wolves' post from 20 yards and Guaita had to react quickly to keep out Diego Costa.

Since the opening day of the season, Wolves had not scored an away goal.

Adama Traore's 31st-minute effort was the winger's first headed goal in English football.

It was worth the wait as the 20-year-old full-back put in a teasing deep cross for Traore to bury a head inside Guaita's near post.

Both sides of the interval were changed by a 25-yard free-kick that came back off the post and a goal by Eze.

Sa was sent the wrong way after a clever touch from Edouard's low ball gave him the freedom of the Wolves box.

There's more to come.
