Neil Lennon
Lennon's side lost 1-0 to an injury-time winner from Manchester United at Old Trafford last week

Neil Lennon was fired by Omonia Nicosia after seven months in the job.

After a home defeat by Nea Salamis, the club announced the news.

Omonia won the Cyprus Cup in May under Lennon's leadership.

They had a chance to earn a draw against Manchester United last week.

The club said on their website that they have stopped collaborating with Neil Lennon.

We decided to end our partnership because of the ongoing competitive instability and the significant losses of points in the championship.

Mr Lennon has written his name in the history of Omonia and deserves the respect and recognition of everyone. The memories of our collaboration will unite us.

We wish Mr Lennon the best of luck in his career.

Lennon agreed to take him up to the end of the campaign when he was appointed by Omonia.

He had been out of management since he stepped down from his second job.

Lennon won two league titles, two Scottish cups and a League Cup in his two spells as Celtic manager, and returned to the club in February of 2019.

Celtic's attempt to win 10 consecutive league titles ended in resignation.

Lennon was a manager for 17 months before he became the manager of Hibs.
