The owner of the Los Angeles Rams will pay the remaining money from the league's settlement with St. Louis.

The rest of the $790 million settlement the league reached with St. Louis authorities is expected to be covered by the league's owners at their Tuesday meeting.

According to the Athletic, each team paid about $7 million, and the NFL charged the other teams that amount earlier this year.

A league source told the Wall Street Journal that the payment dispute was the "most contentious dispute in more than a decade."

The Rams and city of St. Louis didn't respond to Forbes' request for comment.

The city sued Kroenke after he relocated the Rams six years after taking a majority stake. Tensions among owners are running particularly high after a report alleged that the Washington Commanders owner is blackmailing other owners. The owner of the Oakland Raiders, who was fined $10 million by the National Football League for overseeing an abusive workplace, said the league is a Mafia and all the owners hate each other. It's hard to imagine a piece that is more categorically untrue according to a team spokesman.
