According to a Gallup Poll conducted in early September across all regions of Ukraine, 70% of respondents wanted the country to continue fighting until it wins the war, while 26% were in favor of a negotiated settlement to end the conflict.

Men are more likely to support continued fighting than women, and college educated people are more likely to support it.

There is an overwhelming consensus among respondents who want their forces to continue fighting the Russians that a victory would involve the recapture of all territory captured by Russia since the start of the war in the country.

While there is majority support for continued fighting across each of Ukraine's regions, approval slides to around 45% in the eastern provinces of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, the first three of which were illegally annexed by Russia

The strongest support comes from the west of the country.
