Capital One is once again trying to change the airport lounge experience.
A new type of airport lounge will deliver an elevated dining experience, according to the issuer.
The lounges, which will be called Capital One Landings, will partner with the José Andrés Group to provide food and drink at each location. The group's cuisine will be served at these Landings.
Two of the Northeast's busiest airports will be the first two Landings.
The 10,700- square-foot outpost will be located on the pedestrian bridge that connects the western concourse.
You'll be able to access this landing even if you're not in Terminal 2.
Capital One didn't say when the first two Landings would open, but they will open soon.
The lounges at Denver International Airport (DEN) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) were supposed to open in 2022, but have now been delayed to early in the future.
The issuer is making a big announcement, but it doesn't have all the information. Renderings were not given.

Capital One hasn't made a decision about guesting privileges yet.
The Capital One Lounge in Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is similar to the Landings. The Capital One Venture X rewards credit card gives free access to the space for up to two guests per visit. Each additional guest costs 45 dollars.
Cardholders with a Capital One Venture rewards credit card can get two complimentary visits each year, and have access to a special entry rate after that. $50 per visit is the price for guests of the two credit card companies.
The Capital One Lounge is open to anyone who wants to pay a higher entry fee.
Capital One says that the new Landings are an alternative to the airport lounge. The issuer says they'll be unique in that they're not too far from the gate, and they'll offer an elevated food and beverage concept that will provide customers with the chance to enjoy amazing food and beverage just a short walk from the gate.
I would expect these Landings to be focused on bistro areas with plenty of seating options for card members to grab a quick bite to eat.
The more extensive Capital One Lounge in DFW has three top-notch amenities that you'll find in the Landings.
It is interesting that the issuer is introducing a dining concept at the two locations. Many business travelers just want to catch up on work and make private calls at these airports, which are some of the busiest with business travelers.
Time will tell if business travelers just use these spaces as a quiet place to finish a presentation or if they use them as a place to respond to emails.
It will be interesting to see where Capital One Landings can be found.
The nation's airport lounge capital is being turned into Terminal B. The new terminal houses the American Airlines Admirals Club, Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge and United Club.
Terminal B is home to a signature American Express lounge, as well as a Chase lounge.
The views from the Capital One Landing are some of the best in the whole building. The operator of the terminal promised to announce a tenant soon after showing off the outdoor space during the media tour.
It has been more than two years since we knew who would be moving into this spot.
