Mark Andrews bobbles and hauls in TD (0:27)

The Ravens' lead was extended when Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown pass to Mark Andrews. The beginning of the story

1:00 PM AST

The struggles of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson in the fourth quarter this season can be summed up by his costly interception.

Jackson picked up a shotgun snap and ran to his right to escape pressure as the Ravens held a three-point lead. Baltimore would have punted the ball away if he had thrown it away on third down. Jackson threw an off-balanced, jump ball pass that was picked off by the Giants and converted into the winning touchdown.

John Harbaugh said that Lamar will make a play when he comes out of that. We have a unique quarterback that I have to balance that with. There's no doubt that he's going to want it back.

Jackson's QBR is the fourth-best in the league. Jackson's QBR is 29th in the league.

Wilson isn't the first to struggle.

• Staley not apologizing for decisions

• Mariota making most of second chance

• Chase, Burrow get offense on track

• How Zappe's play affects Jones' return?

Injuries have caused a change in the supporting cast. He hasn't played with any of his other players this season.

Harbaugh was asked if Jackson was trying to do too much and he said it was probably a good description.

Jackson shook the hand of a group of players in the locker room.

Kevin said, "It was like, 'Look, we know everything is going to be okay.'"

The Ravens are aware that they could be a top team. The Philadelphia Eagles and the Baltimore Ravens have held double-digit leads in their first six games. The Eagles are the only team in the league that has not lost a game.

Twelve of Jackson's 13 touchdown passes came in the first three quarters. Four of Jackson's six picks have taken place in the fourth quarter.

Ravens running back Kenyan Drake said that Jackson would be needed in every aspect of the team. He's going to put a lot on his shoulders, but we're a team. I can't do it by myself.

We can't do it without Jackson, so we have to keep moving forward with the things that we can control.

Baltimore blew three double-digit leads in the first six games of the season due to a lot of issues. An illegal formation on third-and-1 in the fourth quarter, busted coverages in the secondary, and questionable playcalling on offense are some of the things that have happened.

Jackson can make up for a lot of mistakes when he is playing his best. When he isn't sharp, the Ravens don't usually overcome errors.

When Jackson has a QBR over 70, Baltimore is 22-1 When his QBR is less than 70, the Ravens are 18-28.

He is the man. It isn't on him and it's on a lot of us. He doesn't get too high or too low. He will be focused on next week.

Jackson needs to play like himself again. He only got picked off once outside the pocket in his first four seasons, but he has already thrown two picks this year. He lost the ball with under two minutes to go in a game in which the Ravens were behind.

He is the reason why we win a lot of games. It's not possible to put more pressure on him.
