Sell travel as ‘sexy’ career option, says Hays Travel owner

The owner of Hays Travel said that travel is still sexy despite the challenges.

It is up to those currently working in the sector to put the fun back into it.

There is a lot of understaffing in the industry, which artificially lows our cost base.

The way to compensate for lower revenues is to hold your costs down.

He said that the mindset of people that travel is fun needs to be created.
