Scorecard. Group A table

The Netherlands is close to a place in the Super 12s at the Men's T20 World Cup after edging closer to a victory.

The Netherlands won their second game of the tournament with three balls to spare, thanks to Bas de Leede's 30 from 30 balls.

Jan Frylinck had scored 48 in the previous game.

The Netherlands will qualify for the Super 12s if Sri Lankans lose to the U.A.

The top two sides from each group will play in the Super 12s. The winner of Group A will face England.

De Leede stars with bat and ball

This was a reality check for Namibia who paid the price for a sluggish batting performance after stunning former champion Sri Lanka.

They only had six fours and one six in their entire game and went 10 overs without scoring.

Frylinck failed to accelerate after his team was reduced to a single digit.

The decision to keep the big hitters down the order backfired as they faced just nine balls between them at the end of the game.

The Netherlands were aggressive with the bat from the off, with Vikram Singh smashing three fours and two huge sixes in the powerplay.

They looked to be cruising to victory at 91-1, but lost four seamers in 18 balls to slump to 105-5 after 16.4 overs as Namibia came back to win.

The Netherlands won in the last over for the second match in a row.

The Player of the Match award went to De Leede who took 2-18 with the ball.

It is nice to have two close games and the self-belief has always been there. It might allow the boys to be a bit more free.
