  • Ghislaine gave an interview from behind bars to a British tabloid.

  • She yelled out the names of Prince Andrew and Donald Trump.

  • Trump's support meant a lot to her when she was arrested.

Prince Andrew and former US President Donald Trump were praised by Ghislaine in a new interview.

While being held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, as well as the Tallahassee's Federal Correctional Institute, she talked about the likes of Trump, Jeffrey Epstein, and Prince Andrew as she reflected on her life. She said that she was flattered by Trump's well wishes after her arrest.

He would wish me well and he would remember me. I was very touched by his recollection of me.

She said that his comments boosted her. In June of this year, she was sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the sexual exploitation of young girls. Her attorneys are appealing her conviction.

When Maxwell was arrested, Trump confirmed that he knew her, even though he wasn't aware of the specifics.

According to the New York Times, Trump said he hadn't been following it very closely. I just wish her good fortune.

Since I lived in Palm Beach, I have met her many times. I wish her good luck.

Trump wondered if she spoke to investigators about him after she was arrested.

In an interview with the Mail, Maxwell said he was a "dear friend" of Prince Andrew.

In August of last year, Andrew was sued by Virginia Giuffre, who accused him of sexually abusing her when she was 17 years old in London. Andrew gave up his royal title and duties in order to reach a settlement with Giuffre.

"I care about him, and I feel bad for him, because he's paying a price for his association with Epstein," said Maxwell. During her trial, she claimed that she had made the greatest mistake of her life when she met him.
