A Los Angeles rapper was sentenced to at least half a century in prison on Monday after he was found guilty of rape.
According to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office, Kaalan Walker was found guilty of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication.
According to City News Service, Walker was ordered held after he was sentenced after he was released on bail.
Police said that Walker reached out to his victims over social media to help them with their careers.
Walker would tell his victims there was a music video shoot or that he was going to introduce them to a famous person.
He sexually assaults the women when he is alone with them.
The rapper, who goes by the stage name KR, released an album and appeared in a movie. Daniel Craig and Halle Berry starred in the movie.
