The Cadillac Celestiq, an ultra-luxurious, zero-emission sedan meant to go toe-to-toe with high-end cars, was officially unveiled on Monday. It's part of GM's plan to sell only electric cars.

It will start at $300,000 before delivery fees and options, which buyers are invited to pile on with the help of a personal concierge. The brand will limit annual production to an extremely low volume. The production begins in December.

The interior is clean and sleek. There are five screens when it comes to Cadillac. A 55 inch display spans the dashboard and has two screens. A crystal dial is used to control it.

The front command center is on the center console. The back seat passengers have a "Rear Command Center'' with screens mounted to the front seatbacks.

Ambient lighting, generous amounts of leather, and a glass roof can be found inside the Celestiq. Four zones on the roof can be controlled on their own.

300 miles of driving range is what Cadillac says buyers can expect. All-wheel drive will be provided by two motor that produce 600 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of Torque. The car is capable of hitting 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The brand thoughtfully included rear-wheel steering to make it easier for customers to navigate.

The Celestiq is part of a wide-ranging strategy from GM that promises to bring EV of many body styles and price points to US roads. The Chevrolet Equinox EV starts at $30,000 and is the more affordable of the two.

The middle ground is made up of current models like the Chevy Bolt EUV and Cadillac Lyriq SUV, as well as future ones like the Chevrolet Sierra EV pickup trucks.
