Nashville Mayor John Cooper and the TennesseeTitans have an agreement to build a new stadium at a cost of more than $2 billion.

The new stadium will have a dome, which will allow it to host more concerts and other events, as well as a Super Bowl, which the city has been eager to attract.

According to a press release from the mayor's office, the cost of the new stadium will be covered by the team and the league. $500 million will be kicked in by Tennessee. Revenue bonds issued by the Metro Sports Authority will give the rest of the money. The capital improvement budget has a maximum cost of $2.2 billion.

The announcement was made at a press conference by the mayor. The project needs to be approved by the Metro Council.

The new stadium could increase the value of the team by $300 million, according to Forbes.

The Houston Oilders were founded by Bud Adams, the father of Adams Strunk. He relocated the team to Nashville in 1997 because Houston wouldn't pay for a new Astrodome.

Adams Strunk said that when his father brought the team to Tennessee, he didn't think he could have imagined a better home.

Since taking charge of the team, Adams Strunk has done a great job. According to Forbes estimates, the team's value has more than doubled in the last two years, from 1.5 billion to 3.5 billion dollars. The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in the National Football League with a value of $8 billion.

She spent money on new facilities and uniforms and hosted a uniform reveal party that caught the attention of the league. Three years ago, she brought the NFL draft to Nashville, with a massive party downtown, and hopes that the Super Bowl will be hosted there.

Some of the family's assets will be sold to help pay for the stadium.

The new stadium, which will have a translucent roof and turf instead of grass, could be ready as early as the next season of the National Football League. The naming rights are up for debate.

Nashville Mayor Cooper said in a statement that the funds for the stadium would come from revenue streams designated specifically for the stadium. He said that the new stadium proposal protects Metro taxpayers by not spending a single dollar that could be spent on other things.
