Bo and his wife can't afford to give up a month's salary because of the state of the economy.

He made this claim in an interview.

He said it was the equivalent of a month's salary for the average American. My wife and I can't afford to give up a month's salary. We have bills to pay.

According to his personal financial disclosure, which he filed with congressional regulators, the Republican upstart had no salary at all.

In the disclosure, he stated that he had not excluded any assets that belonged to his wife.

The campaign did not reply to the request.

According to the latest financial disclosures he filed with the Federal Election Commission, he personally pumped more than $925,000 into his own congressional campaign despite not having a reported job or salary.

The only asset on his personal financial disclosure is his trust fund. He valued his income from the trust fund at between $100,000 and $1 million.

In North Carolina's 13th Congressional District, a former college football player is running for congress.

He was praised by Trump as a "proven winner both on and off the field" and a "fighter for Conservative values."

The general election is expected to be a very competitive one. The 13th Congressional District in North Carolina was rated a Republican toss-up by The Cook Political Report.
