New England quarterback Tom Brady missed the walk-through to attend the wedding of the team's owner, but that didn't affect the outcome of the game.

Brady missed the team's Saturday walk-through and weekly days off to tend to personal issues because he was allowed to attend the Friday wedding.

He works as hard as anyone. It doesn't get publicized because they're not him, and there have been a few guys that have missed meetings. It comes with the area. You don't pay much attention to it.

Brady met the team at its hotel in Pittsburgh and did not take a weekly off day the past two weeks.

He doesn't believe giving Brady time off to attend a social function or tend to a personal matter during camp has affected his other teammates, who look to him as their leader and might think it's ok to slack off or not put forth the same level of preparation.

Brady is locked in as he has been in the past, according to the coach, who said that more players miss walk-throughs and meetings than people realize.

Through the first six weeks of the season last year, the offense averaged over 30 points per game. They are expected to average 19.0 points a game in the year 2022.

Brady's Total QBR is the lowest it has ever been. His eight touchdown passes are his lowest since he had eight in 2011.

This year, Brady's red zone completion percentage is down from a year ago. He has scored in the red zone seven times this season, compared to 11 and 12 in the previous two seasons.

In Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints, Brady injured his ring finger and in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs, he injured his shoulder. He doesn't think they're affecting him. Brady was the last one on the injury report for the game against the Falcons.

"As far as I'm aware, he's in great shape," he said. "He's in great shape."

When asked if there's anything health related that's affecting the accuracy of his throwing, he said no.
