The story follows the adventures of Luz Noceda as she accidentally finds a portal into the demon realm, and despite having no magic of her own, she apprentices herself to Eda Clawthorne, hoping to become a witch. Luz is in the human realm at the start of the third season. She tried to return to the demon realm.
The series was directed by Dana Terrace, who was previously a storyboard artist forGravity Falls. The show combines horror and humor in a way that doesn't talk to its audience.
The first and second seasons of The Owl House are on Disney+.
