Oh what fun!

Happy Halloween to all of you with pumpkins in your names. May your costumes get you all of the attention of your crush.

I like to be a Christmas guy. I get to listen to classic songs that I never play other times of the year, and there are sports. One of my Christmas traditions is watching the NBA on Christmas day.

It feels like an intrusion when Christmas falls on a Sunday. On December 25th, challenge flags away from me. I like to watch the New York Knicks when I can.

I am prepared for some football this year.

On Saturday there is a big event. The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles are going to play a second game.

The Eagles and Cowboys played last night, and with the Cowboys having only lost one game, this week's Sunday Night Football game looked like an early game of the year candidate for NBC. With the Philadelphia crowd riled up after thePhillies took their bats to the Atlanta Braves at Citizens Bank Park on Saturday, this was certainly a spooky-season night.

The Cowboys were down 20-0 at one point. In the first half, backup quarterback Cooper Rush threw two of his three picks, and the Eagles shredded the Cowboys defense.

The Rush experience would be over after Week 6 for the Cowboys, but the defense stepped up in the second half and forced two field goals to keep the game close. After the Cowboys dominated the Eagles in the second half, someone must have clicked on Dorrough's song "Get Big".

The gains were significant regardless of who carried the ball. When he made that long cut for the touchdown, he looked quick again. The Cowboys unit that had been dominant all season swarmed Hurts.

Rush's final pick of the game was thrown on the next drive after the Eagles scored again. Big plays on both sides of the ball, division rivals, fast and physical defense, let's run this back.

We all get the experience of opening a gift on Christmas Eve later this year. You can either start the party in the afternoon or wait until the night.

The game of the weekend is Cowboys Eagles II, which will be played on Christmas Day.

It's time to get your holiday ready.
