The Houston Texans are said to be "parting ways" with executive vice president of football operations Jack Easterby.

Easterby has had a major voice in the organization.

The Houston Texans had a bye in Week 6. It was the squad's first win of the season in Week 5.

Easterby spent six years with New England and was a part of three Super Bowl victories. Before becoming the development director, he was the team's character coach.

The move to Houston has not gone well.

The Texans had four wins in each of the last two years before they started to lose.

Easterby had a role in "undermining other executives and decision-makers" as well as "fostering a culture of distrust among staff and players," according to a 2020 report.

Easterby is said to have pushed for the trade of DeANDRE HOPKINS.

John McClain of Gallery Sports said that there would be rejoicing in the organization.

The front office will have three more first-round picks after trading away Deshaun Watson.
