Most of the refunds will be sent out by the day Stadia shuts down. Getting refunds sooner is a nice boost before the holiday season, but the process and timing may be different in different countries.

I agree. You will be able to play the games until January 18. As of September 29, if you were a Stadia Pro subscriber, you'll stay a subscriber until the service shuts down. At least you won't have to pay more for a dying service.
Time-limited demos are the only way to use Stadia if you didn't purchase any games. The in-browser game demos were only launched in October of 2021.
