Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper
Cooper's side were beaten by Wolves following a penalty by Ruben Neves

Steve Cooper said a social media post by his club was not helpful.

The picture of Dennis was put out by Forest with the caption "play time".

The post was deleted but not before it was shared.

Wolves posted a picture of a chopped down tree with the caption "play time's over" after the game.

I was asked about it in the press conference, but I didn't know about it. Cooper said that he was informed about what happened afterwards.

It wasn't helpful and it wasn't good for the club.

It has been dealt with. It's important to learn from it.

The defeat by Wolves was Forest's seventh in 10 league games and left them at the bottom of the table.

Cooper said that he wasn't going to use that as an excuse for the loss to Wolves. The professional players of both teams don't need a social media post to be motivated to win.

We need to draw a line under it and trust that the club will deal with it and move on.

It wasn't helpful but it was done now. We need to move on from it.
