Bubba Wallace shoves Kyle Larson after crash in Vegas (0:45)

Following a crash at Las Vegas Motorspeedway, Wallace went after Kyle. There is a time and a place for this.

1:00 AM AST

After a crash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway that also collected title contender Christopher Bell, Wallace tried to fight KyleLarson.

Wallace did not make the playoffs.

When Kevin Harvick dropped out of the group, the incident began when Kyle Larson slid up the track against Darrell Wallace. Wallace's Toyota was shoved into the wall by Larson when Wallace didn't lift.

Wallace bounced back down the track, followed Larson's car down to the apron, and appeared to hook him in the process. Bell, who won last Sunday at Charlotte to earn the automatic berth into the round of eight, ended his race when he spun out in the middle of the road course.

Wallace got out of his car and walked towards the building. Wallace shoved the smaller driver before he even got to the other driver. Wallace got in multiple shots before a NASCAR safety worker separated the two after a NASCAR safety worker separated the two after Wallace got in multiple shots.

Wallace said he didn't mean to wreck Larson, but both of them saw it as a way to retaliate. Wallace could be punished by NASCAR if they think he retaliated.

Wallace said that he was smart enough to know how easy it was for these cars to break. I don't lift because he didn't clear me and he wanted to make a three-wide divebomb.

I don't lift but I am new to running up front. We're junk because I wasn't at a spot to lift and he didn't. His execution was very bad.

Wallace said that he knew what message he was trying to send when he started shoving him.

He knows what he did wasn't right. Wallace said that he was never cleared by the man.

Is it possible for Bell to become a casualty?

Wallace and Bell are both Toyota drivers.

Wallace hooked him after he hit the wall at Charlotte to contribute to his elimination from the playoffs.

"I made an aggressive move into turn three, got loose, and chased it up a little bit," he said. He got to my right front and into the wall He was going to retaliate. His race was not over until he retaliated.

The thing is what it is. He retaliated by turning aggression into frustration.

NASCAR has been under a lot of scrutiny regarding its new Next Gen car, so it was inappropriate for Wallace to crash on him. Kurt Busch has been forced to step away from the race due to his concussion and Alex Bowman is out for a third straight race with a concussion.

I think with everything that's happened here recently, with head injuries. I don't think it's a good idea to do that. With everything going, he'll know that he made a mistake in the retaliation part and he'll think twice about it.

Wallace was supposed to be ready to fight when he got to his crashed car.

I thought he would do something because I saw him walking over. He had the right to be angry. I want him to fight instead of tearing up our cars.

Bell, who was scored 34th on Sunday and dropped to last in the eight-driver playoffs, said "we got the short end of the stick" with the two drivers.

It doesn't appear that we're going to get to the championship because our performance is capable of racing for it.

The first driver to qualify for NASCAR's championship finale was JoeyLogano, who used fresh tires to win the race.
