The University of Tennessee will pay a $100,000 fine for their victory over Alabama on Saturday.

Fans at Neyland Stadium ran onto the field in celebration after Chase McGrath's game-winning field goal. There were lots of cigars to go around, fans riding the goalposts as they were carried out of the stadium, and a party-like atmosphere that has been uncommon in college football this season.

There was a cost to the celebration.

The SEC fined Tennessee $100,000 due to fans storming the field. The conference rule was put in place to prevent dangerous scenes like the one on Saturday.

The president of Tennessee didn't seem to care.

It was the biggest win for the Volunteers since they won the 1998 national championship and vaulted them to third in the AP Top 25.

Tennessee will have a lot of celebration if it keeps on going to a national title.
