The dairy industry is harmful to the environment. According to the organization, the world's top 5 meat and dairy corporations are responsible for more greenhouse gas emissions than any other company.

Grain, an international non-profit organization, and the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy called for the planet to "dramatically reduce its greenhouse gas emissions" by eliminating meat and dairy.

The "milk pours" took place at eight locations on Saturday.
