Fans dumped the goalposts into the Tennessee River after Tennessee beat Alabama on Saturday.

The bill needs to be paid.

The Tennessee football team is raising money to buy new goal posts.

There's an option for a $16 donation, which is the number of years it had been since the Vols beat Alabama, a $52.49 donation, which plays off the final score of the game, and a $1,019.15 donation, which is a nod to the sold out game

10% of the goal has been raised as of Sunday afternoon.

Tennessee will have to pay another bill soon. The SEC fined the school $100,000 because fans were allowed on the field.

The entire field was covered with fans after Chase McGrath hit a 40-yard field goal with no time left to win the game. The team had to go through the crowd to the locker room.

Since it was Tennessee's second offense, it will have to pay $100,000. A $250,000 fine will be imposed for a third time.

The SEC's post-graduate scholarship fund gets money from field access penalties.

Tennessee, which moved up to third in the AP poll, plays UT Martin on Saturday.
