Michael Cohen said that Donald Trump's people stayed loyal to him because they fell into the cult of Donald J. Trump.

Cohen said that people think he's being funny, but he's not. We're dumb. We fell into the cult of Trump. A lot of people are excited. A lot of energy surrounds it.
When Trump needed something from someone, he made them feel like the most important person in the world, according to the former Trump lawyer.
Cohen said that he wishes other Trump associates would have listened to his advice and stopped using Trump's methods because they are in trouble. A number of those in Trump's inner circle have been subpoenaed to testify.

I would hope that all of them would have listened to me when I said that the game would not work out for them.
Cohen said that Trump knows those in his circle are self-motivated but that the reason they get in trouble is because he leaves no fingerprints.
He doesn't use email. He doesn't use texting as a method of communication. He doesn't care about you because he doesn't have fingerprints. He's willing to throw you under the bus in order to protect himself, because he doesn't care about anyone else.
