An 18-year-old spent two months creating and sharing the entire observable universe in a game where you can build nearly anything.

Christopher Slayton is a long time fan of the game, which allows people to create castles, cliffs and other objects with old-school blocks. Slayton made the effort bigger.

Starfield, Dead Space Mass, Effect 4 and more are upcoming space games.

The mod Slayton put together for the family-friendly game is one of the best space exploration games out there.

I don't know what I'm doing with my life. Slayton said in the video that it has reached a million views. I sat in this sweaty room for eight hours trying to build a curve on a black hole.

According to Statista, there are more than 141 million active users of the game. It has attracted a fair amount of small-scale space mod over the years. But the whole thing? That is a challenge in itself.

Slayton told the New York Times that everyone freaks out about the power and expansiveness of the universe. He said he realized how beautiful the universe was after six weeks of work on it.

The first problem Slayton encountered was trying to recreate the dark and light sides of planets in a game that does not have a source of light. It took him days to put in light and dark blocks, but he found new issues at ringed planets. He said in the video that it took him an entire day to tilt it.

The order and formation of the solar system is related.

He built solar flares, the famous "Pillars of Creation", all to scale and all with many technical challenges to overcome. At the end of the video, you will see a journey that feels like you are flying through the stars.

Slayton has a large audience on the video sharing website. He told the Times that he would like to collect a lifeguard's salary and reduce expenses in order to grow his online business.

Slayton wants to engage the community and try projects like the multiverse, the metaverse and multiple dimensions.

Slayton wants to tell a real entertaining story, unlike how anyone else has done it. I would like to up the standards a little.
