Among the many guest appearances that graced the first season of She-Hulk, one of the most consequential was the appearance of Mark Ruffalo'sHulk. In the premiere, Banner showed up, as well as the second episode, where it was revealed that he had been calling Jen while he was in space. He wasn't seen or mentioned for the rest of the season. If you haven't seen the finale, it's best to return now.
Jen breaks the fourth wall to go up to Kevin Feige in the finale of "Whose Show is This?" Jen made it so that she, a returning Matt Murdock, and the Walters family could have a Fast & Furious-style cookout. At the last moment, Banner and his son Skaar show up, as played by Wil Deusner. The episode ends with Jen affirming that she split her life between being a lawyer and a hero.
Skaar was created by Greg Pak and John Romita Jr., who created What If?, the movie in which Skaar was a child. A planet with a name. The birth of Skaar was caused by a romantic relationship between the green giant and a Sakaaran named Caiera. Before giving birth to twins Skaar and Hiro-Kala, Caiera had died, but not before leaving the planet. Skaar arrived on Earth and got along with Banner and joined the family.
Jessica Gao explained to Entertainment Weekly that Skaar was introduced due to the desire to end the season on a "big cameo" from the MCU, but later ran up against the very human problem of scheduling and a willingness to actually show up. She said that they wanted to tease a new character at the end of the movie or as a post-credits tag.
The writing team went through comic books to figure out which character would be the best fit, and Feige settled on thegamma child. She defers all questions to the character. All future questions about Skaar should be directed to the man himself.
