Russian soldiers are being given Viagra to rape Ukrainian women, according to a UN official.

The UN's special representative on sexual violence in conflict says that it is a deliberate tactic.

When women are held for days and raped, when you start to rape little boys and men, and when you hear women testify about Russian soldiers equipped with Viagra, it's clearly a military strategy.

It is a deliberate tactic to dehumanize the victim when they report what happened during the rapes.

More than 100 cases of rape or sexual assault have been verified by the UN. She said that the number of reported cases is only the beginning of the problem.

She said that the victims include men and kids.

Some children as young as four years old have been raped by Russian troops.

The Washington Post reported last week that a Ukrainian woman said she was raped and tortured by Russian soldiers. Alla and her husband were held captive for 10 days.
