After a unanimous-decision victory over George Kambosos Jr. in the first fight, the undisputed lightweight title was up for grabs. The scores were not close.

The judges scored the fight 116- 112, 118-110 and 116-112, but two scorecards were closer than they should have been. In the second one, he was even more dominant.

I wanted to show other tools in the arsenal because I knew he was going to use the jab. I won the fight with the right hand.

Wilder stops Helenius in Round 1

The right hand of Deontay Wilder is the most destructive thing on Earth.

Robert Helenius was stopped in the opening round by a thunderous punch from the former champ.

He was making his return to the ring for the first time since he lost to Tyson Fury. It was the 42nd knockout for the man.

Helenius had won three fights in a row before he lost to Wilder.

Haney-Kambosos round-by-round analysis:

There was a cut over his right eye from a clash of heads in the 12th round. The judges like easy fights to score points. The score was 10-9. 120-109.

Kambosos trying to make something happen, but it looks like it's too little, too late. The leader is heading into the last round. The score was 10-9. The number is 110-100.

The face of Kambosos is covered in blood in the 10th round. The champion is pushing for the finish as he gets ready to go on Kambosos. There is only one drama left, and that is the ability of Haney to close the show. The score was 10-9. The score is 100-91.

Kambosos with a deep cut over his left eye was the result of those sharp Haney right hands. The jab was used to pick up Kambosos. The score was 10-9. The score was 90-87, Haney.

There is a clash of heads. Kambosos has a gash by his ear, while Haney has an eye cut. The man is letting his hands go more. The score was 10-9. The score was 80- 73.

Kambosos' left eye was really busted up by Haney in the 7th round. There was no answer from the Australian. The score was 10-9. The score was 70-64.

The best round was the sixth. In June, there was more of the same. Right-hand leads and left hooks are being used to walk Kambosos. Kambosos wasn't happy. The score was 10-9. The score was 60-54, Haney.

Kambosos' left eye is swollen as he eats jabs and right hands. Kambosos sat on the outside against the rangier Haney. The score was 10-9. The score was 50-46.

Kambosos doesn't let his hands go again. After a long time, finally landed a good hand in the final seconds. Kambosos won't be able to win rounds if he can't find a way to work on the inside. The score was 10-9. 40-38, Haney.

The third round was dominated by Haney with a clean right hand. Kambosos can't establish himself on the inside. He is near the ring. The score was 10-9. There are 30-28 people in this picture.

The guys missed their shots in the second round. Haney seems to be throwing with more power than he did in the first fight, but his jab is missing. The score was 10-9. There are 20-19 people in this picture.

In New York: Caleb Plant stops Anthony Dirrell in Round 9

The fight was ugly from start to finish.

In the ninth, Plant hit Direll with a vicious left hook. The referee tried to stop Plant from digging Dirrell's grave, but was unsuccessful.

The acrionious comments in the build up just weren't about selling a pay-per-view card. In the third and fourth rounds, both fighters became more cautious of each other. Plant was clearly the quicker fighter. He was reluctant to let his hands go with Dirrell.

In the seventh round, the fans inside the center booed loudly as both guys circled each other. The two fighters didn't seem to know how to fight each other. The roughhousing kept Dock busy. Plant was told by his trainer to ignore the crowd that wanted to see more from him.

Is the real winner of this fight? A man named David Benavidez. Benavidez has to like his odds if he wants to fight the winner.

In New York: Heavyweight Sanchez stops Negron, stays unbeaten

Franknchez has been climbing in the division. The former Cuban defector defeated Carlos Negron in the ninth round.

To the point that his trainer, Joe Goossen, was a little hesitant about that strategy,nchez started out aggressively. Negron was able to hold his own in the back half of the fight.

The action was still in the hands of the man. He defeated Negron in the sixth round. In three of the four rounds, he landed more than half of his power shots. He punched Negron on the ropes. The referee stopped the fight after a clean left hook fromnchez.

The 30-year-old is a fascinating figure. He said he wanted better competition in the future.

In Australia: Jason Moloney dominates Nawaphon Kaikanha

Moloney defeated Kaikanha in the title eliminator. There were three scores: 118-110, 118-110 and 118-109.

Moloney is in line for a third shot at a 118-pound title. Moloney lost a split-decision to Rodriguez.

Moloney was knocked out in the seventh round by Naoya Inoue in a second title shot. The undisputed bantamweight title will be up for grabs on Dec. 13 in Japan, as well as the two other titles, which will be defended by two other people.

Moloney could be a contender for a title if he moved up to 122 pounds.

Moloney boxed from the outside in a match against Kaikanha. Kaikanha was boxing in thailand for the first time. In his only title shot, the 31-year-old's only other defeat was a third-round TKO loss to Juan Hernandez Navarrete.

In New York: Rodriguez dominates Russell in technical decision

Rodriguez defeated Gary Antonio Russell in a big way. Russell was handed his first professional loss by Rodriguez in a technical decision. Rodriguez couldn't continue after he accidentally head-butted in the ninth round. The scorecards had the Puerto Ricans ahead.

Things started to get weird in the 8th round. Russell was knocked down at the end of the round. Russell fell to his feet and beat the count. There was confusion as to whether the bell for the round had rung or not.

Russell recovered after Rodriguez and he fought each other. Rodriguez was able to finish the round. The doctors decided to end the fight at the beginning of the 10th.

They have been involved in controversy before. They clashed heads 16 seconds into the fight and Rodriguez was unable to continue.

In Australia: Andrew Moloney dominates Jimenez in decision win

Andrew Moloney won a junior bantamweight bout by unanimous decision. The scores were 98-89 and 99-88.

Moloney knocked down Jimenez with a jab at the end of the first round. In the opening round, he was docked one point for hitting on the break, putting him in an early hole.

It was questionable if the point deduction was correct. The referee didn't issue a warning In the second round, Jimenez was on the canvas again, this time from a cuffing right hand, and it appeared that the official had made a questionable decision.

The Australian was competing on the under card for the second time.

In Australia: Johnson retains title with decision win

It was not an easy night for Johnson to defend her junior title. A blood-spewing cut on her forehead was caused by a clash of heads. Susie was docked two points for hitting Johnson in the back of the head and for not listening to the referee.

Johnson took a 97-90, 96-94, 96-91 unanimous decision over her opponent after she knocked her down in the fourth round. By the end of the fight, her shirt was red.

Johnson dominated the fight even though he had a cut. The 27-year-old moved well against the former bantamweight champion.

It's a good start for Johnson, who was born in New Zealand but lives in Australia to start setting up fights. If Johnson keeps winning, a fight against Yamileth Mercado might be an option.
