There were six bouts that preceded the main card.
The UFC returned to its studio in Las Vegas after a week-long break to film a Fight Night event in Las Vegas.
Though it was scheduled for three rounds, Pete Rodriguez and Mike Jackson didn't need any of them as they closed the show early.
Rodriguez hit his opponent with body shots, cracked his skull with punches, and floored him with a knee.
Jackson's legs were buckled. The fight lasted 93 seconds, but he lay motionless for at least one minute after he was unconscious.
The crowd began to applaud as Jackson regained his senses.

Jacob Malkoun overcame Nick Maximov's power punching in the opener, a round in which he was knocked down, to come back with strong work of his own.
There were many members of the fight team filming the action and shouting words of encouragement for their teammate.
One of his training partners asked why Nick was wincing.

With each minute that passed, the more damage was done to himself as he tried to continue.
Malkoun secured the win with a clean sweep of the judges' scores.
