A passenger on an American Airlines flight asked the company for "reparations" after she said she was "wedged" between two obese people.

She said that she was "literally wEDGED between two people on my flight."

This is not ok. Fat people can be fat. It's something else when I'm stuck between you and your arm is rolling on my body for three hours.

If you need a seat belt extension, you are too fat to be on a plane.

The American Airlines flight returned to the airport after fumes filled the cabin.

The flight attendant on the plane gave her a pity expression after asking if she needed anything.

She asked her brother if he would like to swap seats with another woman.

"He said, 'no, that's okay,' and then I shrieked internally," said the woman.

I don't care if this is not right. I am being touched against my will. I can't place the arm on either side because there isn't a room. I'm tired of being fat to this extent. She said that it is not.

The airline passenger had long hair over the back of her seat.

The company responded to American Airlines after calling them out. We apologize that you were not comfortable on your flight.

"I can't believe American Airlines responded to my experience," she said.

"This is their official reply to me being sandwiched between two obese humans." I'm supposed to have a quarter of a seat when I fly. I was subjected to hours of no personal space and sweat without my consent. Your response is basically too bad. Is that what I'm going to get?

At one point during the flight, she decided to close her tray table and keep her cup of tea between her teeth because she couldn't get it down properly.

In response to the media coverage of her experience, she said that she stands behind everything she said and that she would like to receive some compensation.
