On Saturday, Musk offered continued support for Starlink in Ukranian, while also expressing frustration with the US government.

The CEO of the company appeared to give up on trying to shift payment for the system somewhere else.

He said that Starlink is losing money despite other companies getting billions in taxpayer money.

Musk followed up with another message about doing good things.

One user said that there was no good deed that wouldn't be punished.

Musk said that they should still do good things.

According to Musk, the satellite internet service used in support of Ukraine during its war with Russia will be funded by the company.

It's not clear if the company will continue its work.

According to documents obtained by CNN, the Pentagon was warned in September that funding Starlink could cost Musk's company $400 million over the course of a year.

"SpaceX is not asking to recover past expenses, but also cannot fund the existing system indefinitely, and send several thousand more terminals that have data usage up to 100X greater than typical households," Musk wrote.

He said it was unreasonable.

His statement was similar to the one written by the Pentagon.

According to CNN, the director of government sales for the company wrote to the Pentagon that they were not in a position to donate more terminals to the country.

Starlink is a constellation of satellites that provides internet access to regions that don't have a stable telecommunications infrastructure.

Ukrainian soldiers and civilians were allowed to keep their internet connection after Russia invaded their country. During the early months of the war, Mykhailo Fedorov requested the aid.
