The former Super Bowl champion was activated from injured reserve Saturday.
According to a source, he will make his New York Jets debut on Sunday.
Curry, who last played in 2020 as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, fought back from a potentially life threatening health situation. Three months after signing a one-year contract with the team, the defensive end was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder that caused an enlarged spleen.
Curry was supposed to play last season, but he developed a blood clot during training, forcing him to miss the entire season. He said he wanted to be back in 2022.
He re-signed with the Jets, but was injured again and was placed on IR. He was cleared for practice last week and is ready to play on the defensive line.
Curry has been with the Eagles for most of his career and was on the team that won the Super Bowl. He has played in 123 games over the course of nine seasons with the Eagles and the Buccaneers.
The Jets elevated offensive tackle Mike Remmers and tight end Kenny Yeboah from the practice squad in order to make room for the active roster.
