"My grandma died today," the post said.

LinkedIn users went so far as to say that Wallake used his grandmother's death for his own gain by posting on the networking site. The post has gotten 128 comments.

One person commented that the sad post was used to promote the company.

The post went from bad to good after grandma passed away. It was sad for you in a lot of ways.

Wallake talked to the New York Post about the backlash he's been receiving.

Wallake told The Post that she wasn't exploiting her death for promotion. If I couldn't be there for my mom, it would be terrible. It's the same for our clients. They don't miss out on life without us.

In August, Wallake called himself the "Crying CEO" after another post went viral. He posted a photo of himself crying after he let go of two employees.

He responded to people who criticized his post.

It's hard to remember why I do what I do when I'm lost in the weeds. I'm always grateful when I'm able to be with my mom when she's gone and I don't have to worry about anything.
