The company is releasing a new version of its Hammerhead wireless earbuds for the PS and XBOX in November for a suggested retail price of $149.99. The Hammerhead HyperSpeed is getting a different color treatment for each console. The model has active noise cancellation. Since the Series X and S consoles don't have ausb-c port, there is ausb-c audio transmitter included with each.

You might have expected each version to have a different approach to connecting to the internet, but both versions support both 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz for connecting to the internet. According to Will Powers, the Xbox version is the definitive model because it can connect to both the PS3 and XBOX consoles. Even though it is the same price, the PS-themed version is limited in terms of compatibility compared to the XBOX version.

The charging case will give you up to 30 hours of use, but the buds themselves last about eight hours per charge, according to the company. The company says that the Hammerhead HyperSpeed will give clear vocals.

The gaming headset market is seeing the emergence of wireless earbuds for consoles and other platforms. The Hammerhead HyperSpeed aim to deliver more features for console gaming, but is no stranger to making gaming-friendly earbuds.
