Bill Maher says Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker is an 'idiot' on 'a scale almost impossible to parody'

The political commentator called the GOP Senate candidate an "idiot" on Friday.

Walker is running for Senate in Georgia and has made a number of false statements.

He's an idiot on a scale that's almost impossible to parody.

Walker had claimed to have graduated in the top 1% of his class at the University of Georgia.

Walker had lied about being a police officer and an FBI agent. During a debate on Friday, Walker pulled out a police officer's uniform to push back on claims that he lied.

I used to work for law enforcement, y'all didn't know that? Walker spoke to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I went to the FBI training school. I didn't know I was an agent.

According to the AJC, Walker has no known connection to a law enforcement agency. Insider previously reported that a former district attorney said the title gave the holder no law enforcement authority and was similar to a junior Ranger Badge.

Walker was slammed for his political views.

Walker who has strongly opposed abortion has come under scrutiny for urging a former girlfriend to have an abortion and reimbursing her after the procedure. Walker denied the accusation.

Insider previously reported that Christian Walker spoke out against his father for being an absent father and being abusive towards his ex- wife.

"Just since the campaign began, three secret children have been unearthed and one of his kids says of Herschel: 'He has four kids, four different women, wasn't in the house raising one of them,'" He's not his pro- family.

Walker wants the GOP to know how much they don't agree with liberal policies.

Part of the appeal of Herschel Walker or a Donald Trump or any number of egregious assholes Republicans have backed is, in their mind, the worse a candidate is, the more it says to Democrats. "That's right, I said that."

They have a view. It's not a dealbreaker if you're a bad guy in Republican politics.
